The 2023 Deakin Vice-Chancellor’s Awards Ceremony held at Costa Hall, Waterfront Campus on 30 October was a spectacular evening filled with celebration, appreciation, and a strong sense of Deakin community. It was an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the outstanding contributions of team members striving towards the delivery of the University’s strategic plan, ‘Deakin 2030: Ideas to Impact’.

Awards were presented to individuals or teams that have made outstanding contributions in three categories: Education and Employability; Research and Innovation; and People and Impact; as well as the new Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Team Member of the Year.

This year a VC Award for Teaching Excellence was presented to the ‘Business Development Clinic’ team:
